Psalm 90

I was reading out praises to G0d tonight during my prayer shift and I started read Psalm 90 and the Lord stopped me in my tracks. In the Psalm the author talks about needing God's favor to rest on the Jewish people.

I wonder, to we really call out for and ask for God's favor? Do we believe that all of our endeavors need God's favor to succeed? Really?
