Overwhelming

As I remember the day of Jesus' crucification and everything He went through, I become so overwhelmed that this is the same Lord and king who loves me and died for me...me a sin-filled, self-absorbed, imperfect person. It still breaks me to know that Jesus gave up everything so that I may have everlasting life, and while that is still overwhelming it is also incredibly comforting and wonderful to know I serve that kind of God. So as the Easter weekend comes and goes, let us seriously remember and meditate on what Jesus actually did...for us.
