Power of Prayer

There may be some that think this is just an exercise but it is so much more. The faith of those who have gone before us and who have prayed and believed that God would move and transform lives is evidence that this week of prayer is about bringing down strongholds. I believe and trust that we are going to see absolute miracles happen because of the faithfulness of those who have come and covered the watch and prayed. Let us boldly approach the throne and ask God to make a difference in our university ministries, our churches, our leaders, and our students.

I believe the battle font has been drawn and we are warriors standing in the gap to keep the enemy from winning. We will storm the gates of hell and it shall not prevail against us. We will break down strongholds and see God's hand at work. I am looking forward to giving God the credit for the wonderful things he has done. May we pray with power and strength knowing we are calling on the very God of the universe who spoke and brought the universe together. Oh God, may you speak again into the lives of those of us in this place and create a new fervor and desire to serve you and to see God's mighty hand at work. Praise the Lord for his goodness and mercy because they are new every morning. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
